Problem:
I am trying to set up an external Zip drive through a parallel port and
also set up my printer through a second
parallel port. One pport is on the motherboard and one is on an EIDE card.
LINUX will detect only one of these
ports. If the printer or zip is plugged into lp0 then that is the one
detected and visa versa but I can not get LINUX to
detect both ports so that I can use the printer and Zip at the same time.
I don't want to plug the printer into the ZIP
drive because I transport the ZIP back and forth between work. Windows
95, which I loathe, handles both ports
correctly. Am I missing something in the setup or does it have something
to do with the imm.0 driver ??
Note:
I am using the imm.o (zip plus) driver based on the fact that the Zip cable
is marked AutoDetect.

Thanks,
Jim
