I dont have a scsi controller.
If I alias:
alias block-major-11 pcd
alias char-major-21 pg
(that is scsi cdrom to pcd and sg to pg)
will that make my "paride scsi" to be detected by all software,
even those without pcd/pg support ?
Will everything work as expected - or may I run into problems ?
This approach is not right for a long term solution (and is not
of use on a scsi system), but I am wondering if it can help in
the short term to use more non-paride aware software.
