my BIOS Setup has no option for PS2 but:

NORMAL (assuming this is SPP -> unidirectional)
EPP
ECP
ECP+EPP

i´ve tested them all, no diffrence!

is it possible that some chipsets must be programmed diffrent? e.g. setting
bit 6 in the control reg.
