There've been a lot of reports about the Multia's parallel port over the
last few years. I don't recall any definitive solution, but you might
try _increasing_ the port delay to 3 or 4. I've forgotten, does the
Multia have a PCI slot free ? If so, you might try getting one of the
Lava PCI parallel ports and seeing if it works.
