I think that is true. If I switched the port mode to SPP, EPP, or ECP
all works fine. Only in ECP+EPP the ppa drivers cannot find the
zip-drive.

As of 31/Aug/1998 Iomega started shipping parallel
port ZIP drives with a different interface which is
