Best is to recompile everything - including your kernel. Then
use modprobe instead of insmod ( is easier because then the
loading is done in the right sequence and of the needed mods
automatically ).

Recompiling is often a good way of getting rid of problems.
Don't use binaries - this sometimes causes weird problems ( lib
mismatches and such ). Use the source, Luke....
