Can I read or write to parallel port which is not
"IEEE-1284" device ?
After ismod parport_pc with paramters
io=0x378,irq=7, I got the following message :
parport0:PC-style at 0x378, irq 7 [SPP,PS2]
parport0:no IEEE-1284 device present.
I then tried to open /dev/parport, and I got the
mesage of "/dev/parport0: no such device" .
