Thank you for the tip.
I added this but noticed nothing different, even
after rebooting.
I am wondering if there is an IRQ problem resulting
from the way I compiled ftape? I commented out the
lines for ftape_internal and all types of devices
except for Trakker. This I uncommented and left
with the default information. Does the following
not allow Trakker to find IRQ 7 used by parport?
HP Colorado Trakker parallel port drive, try
#
TRAKKER_DEV=0
FDC_OPT += -DCONFIG_FT_FDC_PARPORT_$(TRAKKER_DEV)=-1 \
-DCONFIG_FT_PAR_$(TRAKKER_DEV)=1 \
-DCONFIG_FT_TRAKKER_$(TRAKKER_DEV)=1
