    Hello

I did several trials to mount my Zip100:

    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sda4 /zip100
mount: /dev/sda4 is not a valid block device
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sdg1 /zip100
mount: /dev/sdg1 is not a valid block device
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sdg2 /zip100
mount: /dev/sdg2 is not a valid block device
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sdg3 /zip100
mount: /dev/sdg3 is not a valid block device
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sdg4 /zip100
mount: /dev/sdg4 is not a valid block device
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sga0 /zip100
mount: special device /dev/sga0 does not exist
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sga1 /zip100
mount: special device /dev/sga1 does not exist
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sga2 /zip100
mount: special device /dev/sga2 does not exist
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sga3 /zip100
mount: special device /dev/sga3 does not exist
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sga4 /zip100
mount: special device /dev/sga4 does not exist
    cyrix150:/ # mount /dev/sga /zip100
mount: /dev/sga is not a block device

And the mount operation failed on all of them. I ve read information in
the file SCSI-Programming-HOWTO which I ve found on the site
ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/howto/ and I ve checked the file
    /proc/scsi/scsi and I got this:

    Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: QUANTUM Model: VIKING II 4.5WLS Rev: 5520
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
    Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 03 Lun: 00
Vendor: YAMAHA Model: CRW6416S Rev: 1.0c
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
    Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00
Vendor: IOMEGA Model: ZIP 100 Rev: P.05
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
    scsi line 1/10 (END)

All seems to be normal and I don't know which /dev/ I need to use to
    mount this device correctly

    Thanks for help
    Marc

    Bye
