Howdy All
Still trying to install RH Linux on the laptop through a null modem cable
and the parallel ports of both machines. I have given up on RH6.1, and
gotten a friend to download RH7 and write it to a CD. This boots on the
source machine, but I don't have enough space on the source to update to it.
But I can configure the source machine running RH6.1, set it up as an NFS
server and mount the RH7 CD.
I took the RH7 bootnet.img and created a boot disk, then drivers.img to
create a driver disk. After booting the target machine with bootnet.img,
and inserting the driver disk, I can request an install via an NFS server.
Then I get an error window that states:
Failed to insert plip module
ALT-F3 yields the following:

The last line shown when I do an ALT-F4 is:

Any help would be appreciated !!!!
Thanks
