OK, now I'm running 2.4.0-test11. And It is a huge improvement. Even the
sound works! But the parallel port is still not using the 3rd DMA channel
(see details below). Windows detects it perfectly. I use the boot parameter
"parport=auto". At the boot proces, som text about parport FIFO is passing by.
So how do I make it use DMA 3?
In 2.2.17, there was a /proc/parport, where I could see which resources the
parallel port(s) were using. But this is gone now. Is there a replacement for
that or do I have to watch /proc/ioports, /proc/interrupts and /proc/dma
separately?
