I'm pretty certain that it has gone away. I've tried some things which always
used to cause problems, generally things involving large, prolonged
reads/writes, and haven't had any difficulties. (I even read an entire 230MB
cartridge into an image then wrote it back in an attempt to provoke the
problem.)
