[PARPORT] parport printing problems.....

Hi!
Im experiencing problems with printing and it seems like there is
something to do with the parport being unable to probe for the IRQs.....

i get the following msg from the dmesg command....

parport_pc: Strange, can't probe Via 686A parallel port: io=0x378,
irq=-1, dma=-1

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
