Hello,
I've seen discussions related to my problem here before, but
nothing that seems to apply to my situation in particular.
I'm trying to work with a Syquest SparQ drive. I'm inserting
modules, i.e.:
insmod parport
insmod paride
insmod epat
insmod pd verbose=1
Here's the kernel talk:
paride: version 1.06 installed (parport)
paride: epat registered as protocol 0
pd: pd version 1.05, major 45, cluster 64, nice 0
pda: Autoprobe failed
pd: no valid drive found
BTW, 'verbose=1' seems not to result in any increased
verbosity; the message is the same with or without.
Any ideas?
TIA
