[PARPORT] Where is the status of detected printers?

    Hello parport:

            Under the 2.2.x kernel I was able to see /proc/parport/0/autoprobe and
    find out what printer was connected to the parallel port. After
    upreving to kernel 2.4.2, it is no longer detected? Where, if possible,
    can I find the same info about the connected printer?
