Thanks. I did what Tim suggested, and got this fine:
Cdrecord 1.10 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2001 Jörg Schilling
Using libscg version 'schily-0.5'
scsibus0:
0,0,0 0) 'TEAC ' 'CD-W58E ' '1.0A' Removable CD-ROM
0,1,0 1) *
[...]
But how do I get xcdroast to recognize it?
Regarding mount /dev/pcd0, this is what I got:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/pcd0,
or too many mounted file systems
My fstab looks like the following, and I am wondering if that is the problem
for both pg0 (for which
I am sure I must have a wrong entry) and pcd0:
LABEL=/ / ext3 defaults 1 1
/dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
/dev/fd0 /mnt/floppy auto noauto,owner 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
/dev/hda2 swap swap defaults 0 0
#/dev/hdb1 /hd2 ext2 defaults 1 2
#/dev/hdb2 swap swap defaults 0 0
#/dev/pg0 /mnt/parcdrw ext2 noauto,user,rw 0 0
/dev/pcd0 /mnt/parcdrw iso9660 noauto,owner,ro 0 0
Always grateful for your answers...
Thanks.
