Linux already includes a parallel port printer driver (lp). Unless you need
to deal with a so-called 'winprinter' (controllerless / GDI printer),
you don't need any special C/C++ code. Virtually all standard printers
are supported by Ghostscript -- you can use Ghostscript to create a
printer filter and make any printer look like a PostScript printer.
