[PARPORT] Problem with KingByte KBIC-951A (fwd)

Hi everyone,

I´m Andres of Argentina.

I´m tryng to activate a parallel port IDE Device (KingByte KBIC-951A).

I´m working with kernel 2.4.18-14 (RedHat 8.0).

Hardware: Pentium III 766Mhz 256MB Ram, HD SCSI 8 Gb (Compaq Proliant
ML.350)

Just been tested and loaded the modules for operate with the device:
insmod parport

insmod paride

insmod kbic

From dmesg:

paride: version 1.06 installed (parport)

paride: k951 registered as protocol 0

paride: k971 registered as protocol 1

Next, when I´m tryng to access the device (HD 40Gb), with fdisk /dev/pda,
