[PARPORT] Any mass storage backup solutions under Linux?

Ok, so the Iomega Ditto tape drives are not supported under Linux.
Are there any "easy to attach to a portable" backup soulutions that are?
Is using bru or dump to a Zip drive a viable way to do regular backups?
