I am currently using the ep.c driver with my SparQ -- Just out of

|The internal SparQ is an ordinary removable media IDE device.
|The external SparQ is the same drive with an integrated EPAT parallel
|to IDE adapter.
|The internal drive is supported by the standard IDE driver, the external
|drive is supported by the PARIDE suite in current 2.1 kenels.
|Neither driver currently supports the write protection or eject functions,
|but we're working on it.
|If you want to use the external model with a 2.0 kernel, you can
|get either
| ftp://ftp.torque.net/pub/ep.c
|(a monolithic driver for EPAT based disks, now obsolete) or
| ftp://ftp.torque.net/pub/paride-0.94.tar.gz
|which is the last beta version of the PARIDE suite. It differs from
|the official 1.0 version (found in 2.1.77+) in _not_ supporting the
|sharing of parallel ports with other drivers.
