[PARPORT] Scanners?

Hello.

Does anybody know if there is any projects going on with
parallel port scanners? I'm a poor owner of such gadget,
since I can't get it work in Linux.

The sticker on the side of the box said "Supported Platforms:
Windows 95, Windows NT 4.0, or better", so clearly Linux was 
a supported platform.
