imm.o is a low level driver which registers with scsi_mod. The sd_mod asks
the scsi_mod if it knows of any disk devices on any hosts, scsi_mod will
reply with relevant info. Hence "scsi_mod is the center of the Linux SCSI
universe" and everything goes through it.
