While ValueStor CD-ROMs are not mentioned explicitly, the 90c26 is supported.
You should be able to use your drive with the combination of the on26 and pcd
drivers.
But ... This is not going to get you installed. Not only do you need
the drivers, but you need them on the boot floppy, and you need to be able
to convince the installer to use them.
As it happens, the PARIDE drivers will be in the 2.0.35 kernel when in
appears (probably in a few days) and the folks at RedHat have indicated
an interest in incorporating PARIDE support into their installation
system.
Your problem is more immediate however, so if you want to contact me
