If you have a problem with ext2 getting errors too easily then the bug
is in the driver not the ext2fs. The driver the request is despatched to
is supposed to make reasonable efforts at error recovery. Like the IDE
driver tries turning DMA off and the scsi driver tries everything it can
think of
