As far as booting directly from the EzFlyer, no, I don't believe that this
is possible.

However, you could make a boot disk with a kernel small enough to fit
happily on the disk with a few utilities (mount, ln, etc) and have the
SyQuest drivwe mounted on bootup, then have all the directories (/bin,
/sbin, /etc.... and so on) as symlinks to the cartridge drive.
