Yes, I looked at this a couple of weeks ago. It looks quite clean and
readable. The calls in it are blocking, from what I remember -- I'd
personally prefer the simplicity gained by that than the complexity that
seems to be needed for non-blocking calls.
However, if Roger can get his code a bit more readable ;-) then having
non-blocking calls for all this stuff would be quite powerful.
