The short answer is no.  You can only boot an operating system from a
device for which the machine's BIOS has a driver.  
You can, however, compile a kernel with the pd driver built in, and boot
it from some other device and use the EzFlyer as your root disk.  The
kernel would have to reside in a filesystem on a BIOS accessible drive,
or on a floppy.

Beware, too, that most installation programs won't give you the option
of installing to a PARIDE drive (yet).
