The port is set to bidirectional mode, although I've done some tests in
the other mode as well.

Here is a list of a couple of commands and the corresponding output from
dmesg, the last two gives same responses as the first one except for the
supplied lines:

~# insmod pd drive0=0x378,0,0,2,0,0,-1 verbose=1
pda: epat: port 0x2019c84, mode 2, ccr ff, test=(255,255,510)
