I have just uploaded to http://www.torque.net/~campbell/misc/
a patch for linux-2.2.0pre2. This patch can be applied by changing
into the /usr/src/ directory and using:
/usr/src# zcat ppa_patch_2.2.0pre2.gz | patch -p0
Hopefully I can slip the patch into the kernel tree shortly.
