I will try that with 2.2.6, as my current 2.0.36 kernel was installed via rpm.
The purpose of this message is to "report" a succesful CD creationg in mode
0/ECP at speed=1. I had gotten errors when trying to write with many high
memory load programs such as X and netscape running in the background, however
when cdrecord1.8 was run at the console with out X up, it ran flawlessly.
