Hello Tim,

maybe this additional information will help you a little bit:

The tunelp-Command in Kernel 2.2.7 returns:
rathole:~ # tunelp /dev/lp0 -s
/dev/lp0 status is 216, on-line

The tunelp-Command in patched Kernel 2.2.9 returns:
rathole:~ # tunelp /dev/lp0 -s
/dev/lp0 status is 255, out of paper, on-line

The printer isn't out of paper :-)
