Confusing... This is wonderful explanation on how to create RH6.0 install disks;
however, these install disks do not recognize the parport backpack cdrom because
they do not contain the kernel modules needed. So it would not be possible to
continue an install from the distribution CD, which the original poster was
looking for IMO. The 5.2 install image disk Lee found was created by Grant for
this purpose. -see http://www.torque.net/parport/rhs.html According to Grant in
a previous post about RH 6.0 images backpack & support for parport boot/install
disk... "Someone at RedHat is working on it now. Please stay tuned to the
mailing list for an announcement." It may be possible to install from a DOS boot
disk using the DOS backpack cdrom driver. Stay tuned for another post.
