is the epson stylus 640 supported? the reason i ask is bec. ive
been laboring on getting the thing to work for the longest of time. hte
printer works as long as i print ascii texts otherwise it does nothing.
can anyone help?
here's what i've done so far.
1. built the kernel w/ parport support
2. added these lines to /etc/conf.modules:
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
options parport_pc io=0x378 irq=7
3. loaded the lp and parport_probe modules:
insmod lp=parport0
insmod parport_probe
