Hi,

I have just bought a Castlewood Orb (// port) and I have some
problems to use it.

I am already using an Ezflyer230 and it works perfectly.
My config is:
        - Linux Mandrake 6.1 (kernel 2.2.13)
        - Ezflyer 230 connected on // port 0x278
(printer connected thru passthru on Ezflyer230)

        - Orb connected on // port 0x378

at boot time, epat is recognized as protocol 0 and on26 is
recognized as protocol 1.

/etc/conf.modules
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
options parport_pc io=0x378,0x278 irq=none,none
alias block-major-45 pd

/etc/rc.d/rc.local
insmod parport
insmod parport_probe
insmod paride
insmod epat
insmod on26
insmod pd drive0=0x378,1 drive1=0x278,0

/etc/fstab (generated by linuxconf)
...
/dev/pdb1 /mnt/ezflyer vfat user,exec,dev,suid,rw,noauto 1,1
/dev/pda1 /mnt/orb vfat user,exec,dev,suid,rw,noauto 1,1
...

I have attached a file that shows the messages at boot time and when
the ezflyer is mounted (ok) and when the orb is mounted (fs pbm).

#mount -t vfat /dev/pda1 /dev/orb

note: on a windows machine the orb disk I am trying to read is
recognized as a FAT disk.

Any help much appreciated.
Fred
