I got the idea from the answer you gave to somenone with a thinkpad 660
problem, somewhere in the mailing archives.

If I remove the line I recreate my original situation. Messages are similar,
then:

insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.7/misc/parport_pc.o: init_module: Device or resource
busy
insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.7/misc/parport_pc.o: insmod parport_lowlevel failed
insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.7/misc/parport_pc.o: init_module: Device or resource
busy
insmod: /lib/modules/2.2.7/misc/parport_pc.o: insmod parport_lowlevel failed
kernel: lp: driver loaded but no devices found

regards, Ernst
