[PARPORT] Problem with MO-drive on parport

Hi

A couple of days ago I reported on problems with the MO-drive on my
parallelport using a shuttle EPST adapter. Writing onto the disks is ok, but
retrieving data won't work. With longer files I get input/output errors on
transferring data for a couple of seconds. So I guess the software is ok, but it
is a hardware problem. Must I pay any attention to BIOS settings? What
parallel port must my computer be set to? The Bios does offer 'normal', ECP,
EPP, ECP+EPP.
