[PARPORT] parport module to enable PLIP with Windows?

Good morning,

Am I wrong or is the user-level parport device the answer to the
Linux-To-Windows PLIP problem? AFAIK Windows Direct Cable Connection does
simple PLIP but only after its own stupid "CLIENT" "SERVER" handshake. So
this could be fixed in a minutes' work, ... right?

Is anyone checking this out?
