Actually... You should have a /etc/rc.d/rc.M or something similar for loading
modules. I've had pretty good luck w/ using modprobe to get the protocol loaded
and then w/ the device listed in /etc/fstab kmod will load the last module if I
mount that device. It's probably better than putting insmods in
/etc/rc.d/rc.local.

Hi, all,
thanks so much for your help with my problem (getting a parallel port
Zip100 to mount automagically). Ultimately, I was not able to get mount to
work without using insmod, so I just copped out: I put the insmod commands
in rc.local, and now it works out.
Just wanted to say thanks for all of the good suggestions!
