    Tim,

    Sorry for the delayed reply. Here is what I got from running 'modprobe
    parport_pc'.

    Jun 19 22:12:36 townhall kernel: parport0: PC-style at 0x378 (0x778)
    [SPP,ECP,ECPPS2]
    Jun 19 22:12:36 townhall kernel: parport0: detected irq 7; use procfs to
    enable interrupt-driven operation.
    Jun 19 22:12:36 townhall kernel: parport1: PC-style at 0xffe0 (0xfff0)
    [SPP,PS2,ECP,ECPEPP,ECPPS2]

    It is parport0 that is working. Here are the messages from 'modprobe
    parport_probe'.

    parport0: Printer, Lexmark International Lexmark Optra K 1220
    parport1: no IEEE-1284 device present.
