[PARPORT] Driver for Creative WebCam 3 (parport) on Linux ?

    Hai,
            Can any one help me for installing Creative WebCam 3 (parport) on my
    Linux machine ?
            When I try to connect the device , a message like
            "/dev/video - No such device appears "
            What will be the reason for it ?
            I have successfully loaded the modules parport, parport_pc, videodev,
    c-qcam etc ...
             'ls ' command on on /dev/video* gives following output.
            Our kernel version is 2.4.0-test8
    [root@eiid1 /root]# ls -l /dev/video*
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 6 Oct 2 11:52 /dev/video -> video0
    crw------- 1 root sys 81, 0 Oct 2 11:51 /dev/video0
    crw------- 1 root sys 81, 1 Oct 2 11:51 /dev/video1
