I just tried this procedure on RH6.1, kernel 2.2.14, and it didn't work -
it fails repeatedly on the 'insmod pd' step instead of just the first
time as Stefan reports. Were there enough changes to the parport stuff
from 2.2.14 to 2.2.17 that upgrading might make this work? Thanks!
