Hi:
I have an HP 7200e CD-Writer Plus and have gotten it somehow to behave, but not completely.
I have RH7.1 with the updated 2.4.9-12 kernel (386) .
Running the OS supplied cdda2wav and cdrecord (1.9).
I can't get cdda2wav nor cdrecord to work with the drive.
The following is the output of the next 3 commands
$ /sbin/insmod paride
$ /sbin/insmod epat
$ /sbin/insmod pcd
$ /sbin/insmod pg

I can mount a CD using
$ mount /dev/pcd0 /mnt/cdrom
And I am able to view the data.
When I use cdda2wav as follows..
$ cdda2wav -D /dev/pcd0 -S 1 -B
It starts reading but then locks up the system until I pull the plug on the drive.
I then use cdda2wav on my ATAPI/CD-ROM drive to read the audio files.
$ cdda2wav -D /dev/cdrom -S 1 -B
Then use cdrecord to write them onto the HP 7200
$ cdrecord -v speed=1 dev=/dev/pg0 -audio audio*.wav

Am I incorrectly specifying the device ?
I am out of Ideas... any clues out there ?
Thanks in advance...
