[PARPORT] Linux 7.0 Remove Folder

Hello Linux experts,

I am sorry to put the following question in
this discussion group. I am pretty new to
Linux. Recently I installed Linux 7.0 on my
PC. Still learning various utilities and
functions. Could you please tell me how I can
remove a folder (not empty). I checked
rm --help as weel as rmdir --help and tried
various options like

rm -d
rmdir -f

but nothing worked. Please tell me how can I
deleted a folder containing some files as well
as sub-folders
