Hi,
I've just purchased a Backpack CDRewriter, but I can't get it to write
to a CD-RW (haven't tried CD-ROM yet).
I have:
Redhat 7.3
Linux kernel 2.4.18
cdrecord 1.11 (also tried 1.10)
Backpack model 195200
Here's the syslog output from modprobe's of paride, bpck6 and pg:

Here's the output from "cdrecord -scanbus":

And here's the output from cdrecord when I try to "quick erase" a CD-RW:

cdrecord: Cannot blank disk, aborting.
I tried changing the delay to 1, but the problem remained.
I'm guessing that this drive is not compatible :(
Any ideas?
Thanks, Greg.
