My system crashed and I had to rebuild it. It was a long time ago that
I installed the ez.c driver and can't
remember exactly what I did to get it to work. Right now I am running
2.0.33 and i have compiled ep.c per
instructions. After doing the mknod for the devices, I tried to insmod
ep and I got an error that auto probe
failed so I specified insmod ep ep_base=0x378 and now it says ports at
0x378 are not available when I know
that is the correct port. I don't have Parallel Printer Support
compiled in the kernel, do I need it?
Any other comments or help? Thanks in advance,
Dave Wilde
