[PARPORT] paride/on26/pd problem in 2.1.86

I am using paride, on26, and pd to access a ValuStor ide drive. Works
fine under 2.0.33. But under 2.1.86, I get the following messages when I
mount the drive.

Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad
Ugh at c01082ad

And on one occasion it crashed the system. Any ideas about what might be
going wrong?
