hi David...

well i called Microtek sales... and the sales rep told me that the
Microtek ScanMaker E3 Plus was indeed a SCSI scanner... with a SCSI to
parallel converter built in... he was not able to tell me what kind of
chip it was... i had to send e-mail to chip it was... i had to send e-mail to pcsupport@microtek.com... i have no
idea what the response time would be..
