[PARPORT] Kanguru Disks and Linux

Hi,

Does anyone know if the Kanguru Parallel Port IDE Hard Drive
devices are currently supported under Linux?

If so, is it appropriate to use the PARIDE parallel port IDE
subsystem?

My wish is to set up a Linux system on a Kanguru disk, which will
attach to a Toshiba Libretto 100 CT already running Win95. The idea is
to run (and boot) Linux from the Kanguru, without disturbing the
internal Libretto disk. My plan was to use a desktop Linux
system (2.0.30 Caldera) to configure the Kanguru, and then attach to
the Libretto. Any information or thoughts (or warnings) about this
setup would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Becky Koopmann
