The new version fixes a bug that could cause kernel Oopses when using
the module auto-loading facilities.
It comes as an independent kernel driver packages
ftape-4.x-beta-11.tar.gz
and as a kernel patch relative to Linux v2.1.113
linux-2.1.113-ftape-4.x-beta-11.tar.gz
Both can be downloaded from my web page
http://www-math.math.rwth-aachen.de/~LBFM/claus/ftape/development.html
The kernel patch includes a detailed kernel configuration "Config.in"
script with help texts and an up-to-date
[/usr/src/linux/]Documentation/ftape.txt file.
If no major problems arise I'll send the thing to Linus soon and
release the separate package as ftape-4.00.tar.gz
There will be an updated version of the HOWTO and the "Ftape
Installation Guide" as well.
