I'm interested in getting a parport scanner running here at work. Is
anybody working on this?
If not, I'd like to hack together a driver for parport scanners. They
are so cheap here ($90, not including a $30-35 rebate) it's a crime.
my questions, if you guys don't mind:
1) Is there any scanner-related parport code floating around? Do any
vendors have the source for their Windows drivers available?
2) Are there any scanner-related parport docs online?
3) Is there a good general intro to writing a parport drivers, or
4) What is the best parport device driver to copy, when doing the
scanner driver?
